Update -

March 17, 2006

I ended up at the dr's office today (seems there is a lot of sickness going

around!) and i have a UTI AND a sore throat (viral) - so he put me on Cipro

(allergic to penicillin) and i hope it makes me feel better. My blood pressure

does not do good things when i'm sick, it's the worry wart in me i guess I'm

now only taking 10mg of lisinopril and that is it! He said it is such a baby

dose and it's keeping my pressure in the normal range - IF I keep this up for

another 2-3 months and get off a total of 30+ lbs (all total, including what

i've already lost) he said i'll probably be able to come off of the bp

medication all together!!!!!!!!

Officially - according to the dr's scales - i've now lost 17lbs! i THOUGHT that

i might gain some back once he took me off of the bp medicine that had a water

pill in it, but i didn't! I had my period start on Monday and the scale DID go

up a little bit with water weight, but i just shrugged that off and got on the

scale this morning at his office - 313! I started this on Feb 13, 2006 eating

the SB way and i was 330 then.

So 17 lbs in just over a month?? I'm pretty happy with that! Although 10 of

those lbs came off in the first week, so i do expect it to go slower now and

that is good - for the FIRST time ever i'm OK with the scale going down .5 to

1lb per week, and hey if it's 2+ one week, i'll take that too!

And hey, wanna know something?? Maybe TMI but you will all understand when i

say it. I weigh naked at home, and i ALWAYS have to lean over to see over my

tummy to see the #'s on the scale - well guess what? I didn't have to do that

today!!!! I literally looked down and just by 'sucking it in a bit' i could see

my toes and the # on the scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok TMI over
