Hi Rochelle;

I read your note stating that no one commented on your last post. I found it

and what I got out of it was that you've found what works for you and you're

happy with how things are going.

I'm not sure what it was that you were wanting us to respond to, as you didn't

ask a question or ask for comments. If you'd like some guidance, just ask! :)

There are plenty of folks on this list that love to help others get in the

groove of living on the 'beach'.

Hi, just checking in. I got pretty frustrated last week knowing that I

wasn't doing the program correctly. I felt like I was " sacrificing " the

cookies, chips, etc. and still not losing weight. I think, for me, it made me

focus too much on what I *could* eat, like nuts! :-) Hence my going overboard.

The calorie counter that ann suggested REALLY spelled it out for me! I was

eating like 800 calories just in nuts!! (I've never tracked my calories like

that before.)

So, I basically just started phase two anyway (it was that or give up

completely), and guess what? I have lost 5 lbs since I started this 15 days

ago. I only want to lose 15 or so total so I'm pretty thrilled with that. So,

I'll continue on a modified Phase 2, since it seems to be working. I am

definitely eating better, alot more veggis, no snack food/sweets/sugar, etc., so

I am feeling better too. The main thing I noticed is that I no longer wake up

with a headache every morning.
