Bean Cake Question

Let me apologize if this question has been asked and answered already

and I missed it (you know how it is when you aren't actually paying

attention to ALL of the posts on a certain subject)

I went shopping yesterday and I wanted to pick up the ingredients to

try out the Spicy Beancake that has been all the rage )

I was hoping to get the canned beans because it seemed easier to

start with them. Well....I ran into a bit of a roadblock -

Exactly what kind of beans are we supposed to use? I didn't see

anything that was called simply " small white beans " . Actually the

only bean I saw that said 'white' was the white cannellini beans

(this is what I actually bought) but they are by no means small.

So....help!

Does anyone know the actual name of the beans we are supposed to use??

I feel like I have only a small window of opportunity here to make a

good " diet " cake for my kids (if they hate it I'm sure they'll never

try another one - lol)
