> How old is ? How about Dakota?

is almost 3 (October 16) and Dakota just turned 6 (July 16).

AJ is very happy when occupied but

> give her a minute to think about the discomfort

is the same way so we try to keep him occupied all the time. I know

exactly what you mean about AJ eating for the teacher too. My son loves to

go to my neighbor's house to play with her son. He will totally refuse to

eat dinner for me and then go over to play and I will walk over and he will

be chowing down at her dinner table. I think they sense the fact that

eating is a big issue with us moms. I try not to make it to much of one

but it's hard. He also is an angel there and a little devil at home

(constantly riding our English Bulldog like a horse). .

>

> So, has EG but no reflux. AJ has reflux too. We got the celiac

> diagnosis also.

I don't think ever had reflux, he was diagnosed with it at 2 months

after being released from the NICU. He vomitted constantly but I believe

it was just the beginning of the EG. After a year on Zantac and

Propulsid, they did a fundo. After the fundo, my hubby said it was like

they stood him on his head cause it just started coming out the other end

to put it bluntly.

Tell me about these Beetleborgs. We don't know of them.

> Our house is overflowing with Barbies!

We have our fair share of Barbies too. Beetleborgs are his phase right

now, I am just glad Barney is gone, LOL!

You have to call Dr. Putnam.....I swear, my son has the exact same story as

your son. I think that he would be very interested in helping you.

I know, Dakota starts 1st grade this year too. Can you believe it? I can

remember when she was born, took her first step. They grow up sooo fast.

used to get feeding therapy too but our therapist finally decided

that until his physical part was better, he was not going to eat better. I

asked her one day that if it hurt her to do something, would she want to do

it? His therapy was just not helping.

likes the Teletubbies too (UGH!) I don't which is worse. At least

Barney was trying to teach them something. Dakota learned her nursery

rhymes from Barney. The Teletubbies don't even speak, they babble.

Whenever Dad is not looking, loves to play Barbie (mostly undress

them all, yes it does start early) and he loves a great tea party and to

rock his baby in the rocking chair. That is our secret.

Good luck tomorrow, I hope all goes well and at least you get some answers.

We just learned today we will be having a scope Thursday.

The twins like Teletubbies, but Clayton who really does not talk loves barney

and says maybe 2 words and of course one of them is BAHNEY,. We took the kids

to the toy store on Saturday to get Clayton some things for the hospital and

all he keep yelling was BAHNEY and grabbing for Barney. COle on the other hand

grabbed LaLa.

Kelsey,

BJ gets to eat anything he wants pretty much now. He still has a reaction

to dairy but not as bad as before and he still can't eat hot dogs or chicken

for some reason his tummy can't handle those foods. Right now, his

eosinophils are gone. He was 12 months when he had his fundo and he healed

really fast. He was only in the hospital 3 days and was back scooting on

his butt in a week but babies are like that. They don't really care much

about pain, thank goodness. As far as the Tagamet, I have dealt with reflux

for several years and never saw anyone about it cause I was always so busy

with BJ. I had horrible heartburn and these horrible smelling burps that I

got every day. I got immediate relief with the Tagamet. I can eat anything

I want now where as to before, I couldn't eat spicy or greasy stuff.

Tummies are annoying. I hope that stays better forever but we will

have to wait and see. The doctors are just watching him very closely.

asthma)

P.S. Here is a pic of BJ and Dakota

Things went ok yesterday, we should get the results Monday or Tuesday. I

have been feeling pretty good, just so tired all the time. Tomorrow I have

an ultrasound so we should know the sex. I am anxious to know. I have been

to Labor and Delivery twice so far in labor. The doctors knew it was going

to happen. I am 24 weeks now so even if I deliver now the baby has a good

chance of surviving. I haven't dialated at all yet or effaced so these are

good signs that I should hold on a while longer. The doctor is thinking I

should make it to 29 or 30 weeks. I think this is just a guess. To top the

stress of everyday life and BJ's medical problems, my hubby just got orders

for Korea to leave in June for 1 year alone. Wonderful! They may get

deleted because of BJ.

Dawn-KS(who will never catch up with her mail), mommy to Dakota, 7 and

effects of many years of steroid use, sigh!))

Oh Penny . . . how are your kids, have they been ill, lately, too? Tis the season . . . I had lunch at the downtown Flint Masonic Temple, today, with my cousins, and we were all complaining about the weather, and I reminded them we were also the same group who complained when it was too hot, but it seems like since the fall has come, all our kids are sick--they're taking the sharing thing too literally :-)

Love,

Dawn

I can’t

believe they are that old. I love that age. You are so luck and you deserve it.

Have a merry Christmas. I am going well. I entered into my 24 week today. I am

in the grey zone. I lost my son at the end of 25 weeks. so, I am going to need

a lot of encouraging words. I see the doc next Tuesday. I have been funneling

but I put myself on SBR hoping that this will go away. If I can make it to the

end of January, that would be Gods blessing.

God bless.
