Guest guest
, You are so kind. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. But if all it takes is a GI series to get this surgery it will be worth it. My husband and mother have had the series and say it is okay. Nothing to worry about. I just want to do this yesterday - not 6 weeks from now. I think everyone who finds this site is so excited about the success of the former patients and so disgusted with our current lives that we have ABSOLUTELY no patience to wait for referrals, approvals and the surgery itself. Guest guest
Dear Janice, Yes. I agree that it is hard to be patient especially when you first find this site and see all the sucess. You do want to be healthy though. I told Dr. R, " If nothing else happens at least I know I had a thorough check up. " I understand about wanting this surgery yesterday. But, probably like you have heard, nothing ventured nothing gained. I think this because if you go through all the hoops the 'prize' at the end is well worth the wait, the trouble and the research. This is nothing to be entered into lightly. Good luck, hun. Love, > , > > You are so kind. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Janice, Amen. I had no patience while waiting. I felt like obesity had already taken enough of my life and I wanted it to end. It tastes just like Nestle's Quik to me. And, while it is not necessary to use a blender, I prefer the taste when I do. I use 4 oz water, 1 scoop protein, 1/2 cup crushed ice. That's the " basic " recipe. (I blend the protein with water first then add the ice LAST). You can add lots of different things to make it even yummier - like 1 teaspoon or 2 or peanut butter, a tablespoon or two of any Davinci sf/carb-free syrup (cookie-dough, cherry, caramel, all are good!).
