Gosh, I think if I were you, I'd start with the Andy Cutler protocol, low dose.

It's in the Files section of this list.

[ ] starting chelation

Hi to all, I am new to this group, Our third child has high levels

of mercury and after going through this website I think it seems to

be the only thing to do. What are the differences in the different

chelating agents. We had our son on ALA according to the advice of

the lab doctor who sent us the test kit for the hair elements test.

We were giving 30 mg once per day, for four weeks until he had a

viral infection unrelated we decided to stop. I thought I was giving

an antioxidant. Now that I've browsed through this site I realise I

have been giving a chelator. I have been reading and researching for

four years wherever I turn there is always conflicting advice. We

recently tested for mercury in the blood and the results show high

levels of methyl mercury. Now if this is high then does it mean he

has had recent exposure or have we loosened the mercury. I have read

ALA should not be given after recent exposure. Do most parents have

doctors to help or do you chelate with ALA on your own. I just don't

think I will ever find the right person doctor or not to help me. I

visited a DAN doctor but she suggested quite a high dosage for the

urine challenge test which I disagree with after what I have read

here. I seriously don't know where to turn. Our child has brain

damage as a result of vaccine injury he has low essential minerals

and carbohydrate uptake deficiencies as a result of the mercury.

All three of our children had bad reactions to vaccines but the

paediatricians always underplayed their reactions. our third child

Sebastian had the worst reaction of all three. Our second child

is hyperactive since the vaccines had rashes for an entire

year and was very ill now he is fidgety can't sit still at meal

times. for a long time he would hold his ears closed when I would

talk to himw But my main worry is our youngest Sebastian. He is

lethargic pale non verbal and has inflammatory bowel disease food

allergies.

Thanks for your replies.
