Guest guest
The things i found that are different are: In Wave 1, you can have whole grains on Sonoma but not on SB. You get serving sizes to follow. You can't have sweet treats on Sonoma like SB. You can't have artifially sweetened anything including jello on Sonoma on Wave 1. You can only snack on veggies on wave one on Sonoma. I thought it was easier to stick to Wave one on Sonoma then Phase one of South Beach because of the allowable whole grains. I also didn't get as constipated on Wave 1 as I did on Phase one. Carol I received an article from New Lady Journal today about he Sonoma Diet > and other then using the different sized plates I cant find a BIG > difference so for all you " research health " people can you tell me > what the difference is and what makes SBD better versus Sonoma or vice > versa?? As I have said before I jsut cant wrap my brain around this > stuff very hard for to understand I need someone to spell it out for > me in everyday language > !! > > Thanks > Sara > > > > > > > > > > > > Please send your recipes for inclusion in the Files to the Moderator at: > South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right-owner > > Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones - and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats. > > For more on this Way Of Eating please read " The South Beach Diet " by Arthur Agatston, MD.
