Guest guest Posted July 2, 2000 Report Share Posted July 2, 2000 Just a warning to the parents of the little ones (two and under).... many parents (myself included) have reported that autistic children HATE fireworks. Strangely enough, the diet has helped - now tolerates and enjoys fireworks with the best of them. But, when she was two and three she absolutely hated them, would scream in what appeared to be agony or terror. If you go to watch fireworks on Tuesday with your kids and you aren't sure how your child will react try to have an escape from the noise planned so that you can help your child find relief from the noise.
