Guest guest
This is absolutely the best salmon my family has ever enjoyed! Grilled Salmon 4 salmon steaks (5-6 oz each) 4 T Smart Beat Margarine (any SB approved) 2 T Sugar Free Catsup (I use s) 1/4 C lite soy sauce 3 T Balsamic Vinegar 1/4 t garlic powder 1 T imitation honey (from Walmart) Combine margarine, catsup, soy sauce, venegar, garlic powder, and honey in a small pan. Bring just to a boil and set aside. Place the salmon steaks (skin side up) directly on the grill. After 5 minutes, place them in a tin foil " boat " on the grill (skin side down). Baste them repeatedly with the sauce...until the sauce caramalizes on the foil...and the salmon is thoroughly glazed...approx 10 minutes? Slide the spatula between the skin and the steak...the skin sticks to the foil...and serve. I served these with sweet potatoes (Ph 2) sauteed in a little bit of olive oil and green beans cooked in chicken broth.
