Guest guest
, thanks for the info. Armour is indeed a G-dsend, and I take very seriously the personal experiences of people who are hypo. But I have met dozens of hypo people on my thyroid lists and some people actually find they tolerate cytomel+synthroid better than Armour. The real key is finding a dr. who relies not just on TSH, and not just on TSH and Free T4, but Free T3 as well, and is experienced with all manner of thyroid hormone replacement, including natural thyroid. Such endocrinologists, and informed internists DO exist. Take care, Fay P.S. And of course, keeping copies of all the labs is important. Guest guest
Carol check out www.wilsonsthyroidsyndrome.com A doctor who really understands thyroid won't pay as much attention to your blood work as they will how you feel. If you still have some of the symptoms they list talk to your doctor about using a combination of thyroid. Also make sure they are doing a full panel for you not just TSH and T4. Hope this helps any questions drop me an email. I have had thyroid for many years and have found some things that help. Guest guest
Dear Faye You couldn't be more right about the importance of forward-thinking, comprehensive MDs. The book Hyperthyroidism Type 2 : The Epidemic, by Mark Starr, MD helps you locate them. Good Luck, cf young cfyoung4@...> wrote: , thanks for the info.
