Guest guest
As a larger person myself and being in the clothing trade for so long, (shhhh I'm a patternmaker seamstress, don't tell anyone. LOL.) I have helped dress many larger people as WE tend to be very difficult to find clothing that fits or is flattering to our shape, personality and style. I agree that classic cut pants is good in a dark colour but I add to wear same colour shirt or slinky tee as your pants or a long skirt for that matter and add light weight overblouse in bold or evening colour and leave it open. Asymetrical cut shirts look great too (ones that slope at the hemline to one side) Or add a sexy jungle print scarf or shawl to your basic plains. Always match shoes pantyhose and hemlines in colour or at least shading. Do overdo jewellery especially bangles and rings on every finger, because when you have you arms down beside you it draws attention to the hip and tummy area. Go for unique ear-rings or necklace instead. Zap the hairstyle, the idea is to keep the eyes focussed on your face and if anyone dares to say, " great shoes " SMACK THEM IN THE FACE! Hope this helps in some small way....Karin )
