Hi

All!

Yesterday,

when I searched the e-mail of a surgeon from Netherlands (Dr Vaandrager)

I chanced on an interesting

for me site www.craniofaciaal.com

in the context of dealing with HFM. It is Netherlands, but there is a version

in English too.

beth,

when you started with Josh's maxillo facials

surgeries, had you already contacted Dr Brent and were he in contact with the maxillo facial surgeon?

Hi !

Thanks for the link - I'm always interested in new info!

We were not in contact with Dr. Brent when we started his surgeries,

however, we were in constant contact with the Cheif of Plastic Surgery as he

and the maxiofacial surgeon from Children's Hospital/Detroit performed all

of Josh's surgeries together. The plastic surgeon wanted to make sure that

none of the " ear reconstruction " area was affected so not to hinder future

reconstruction. However, it did. So I would definitely encourage anyone to

seek the opinion of a reconstruction expert prior to any other

reconstructive surgery.

I'm still searching for pictures to show you that will outline the

differences of before and after. Take care! Love, beth

This is definitively that I mean. I have

asked Dr Brent for a name of maxillo facial surgeon

who he works with, but I have no answer. I will tray again.

The last week Bogdan

has got a "photo session" - CT scans of the mandibula and condylar region, panoramique X-rays, photos of his bite and s.o. I'm very proud of him - he was wonderful! Very patient

and he never budged the whole time! Even they don't have sedated him for

the CT scans! He is larky, but he is very sensible and

when he has to present himself he do it.

In Bulgarian there is a proverb - "My little crow is the prettiest!"

šI have braggedJ!

Love, .
