It the past it had more bits of > vegetables so it felt like I was chewing something. Try pulsing it rather than just holding the button down. If you pulse it, it will not chop things so finely. MAYBE NOT SO MANY CHOPS ? I prefer the Curisinart Original has lots of control over chopping or pureeing have a small hand held crank the handle type i bought at the fair love the thing grater too... Guest guest Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 Hi , Try this when using your new chopper. only put in a couple of pieces at a time and pulse them. In other words turn on the copper for a couple of quick seconds and then back off and again until they reach the correct consistency for your quiche. That way you want chop them up so fine. It only takes a very short couple of pulses to get your vegetables like you want. The trick is not to over load the chopper. Hope this helps.
