Guest guest Posted March 26, 2003 Report Share Posted March 26, 2003 Hi Gosta! I'm a 25 year old female born with left stage 3 microtia, atresia, and hemifacial microsomia. I've had 7 plastic surgeries on my left ear but it really doesn't look like a ear just a flat plastic piece covered in skin. Plus it keeps getting infected. I'd like to get it removed and get a prostesis and also have my jaw and left TM joint fixed since it's giving me pain but I've been unsuccessful in finding the doctors to do these surgeries/procedures in my area.
