Guest guest
Hey Fit and welcome!!! It sounds like you are ready but I must tell you that it REALLY CONCERNS me when someone says their husband is PRESSURING them to lose weight!! Especially when HE WEIGHS SO MUCH!!! In my opinion (not that you asked I know)that is a form of emotional abuse. Losing weight is hard enough when it's only you pressuring yourself, let alone when it is your significant other. That said, you will only be successful if you are doing it for YOURSELF!!! You must believe in YOU to build your self esteem. Ask yourself WHY you want to lose weight and write it down....do not consider why your husband wants you to lose weight. You must have your own answer that has nothing to do with him. Believe in yourself!! You deserve to be a healthy whole woman who is loved and accepted for the way she is now without conditions. All the best to you, Kim > > Hi All, > > I'm new here. Guest guest
Hi Kim, Thanks for the words of wisdom. As far as my husband, I didn't mean pressure in a bad way or abusive way. He says he loves me no matter what! We were childhood sweet hearts and have been together for 20 years. He says he'll love me as a Big girl or Small girl. His point is make a decision. I go on and on about wanting to lose weight, but I won't stick with any program. Meanwhile, I'm always asking him how this looks and how that looks. When I know before I ask that I like puggy. To be perfectly honest, I get more flack from my mom who is a size 6 and more sister who is a size 4. But even with them, I know that love me and they want me to be healthy. I have decided that I'm not going to tell any of them about SBD. This time I will show them. Anyway, just wanted to clear that up. Looking forward to starting next week! Guest guest
Are we to assume that both of you will be doing SBD? It will be easier if you do. Guest guest
I'm glad to know all is well in the hubby dept :-) Maybe I watch too much Oprah....but I know too many women who's husbands are just dogs to put it mildly. I know about family, they can be a tough crowd. But once the pounds start dropping, they will be very impressed. Good luck! > > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > I'm new here.
