Guest guest
I suppose it would depend on your school's protocol, but I imagine you would get a note from your doctor and send in the vitamins to be administered by the nurse. This is what we did with enzymes anyway. -- - In @y..., " Rez Ashikino " <rashikino@n...> wrote: > Hi, Ive heard alot about Brainchild nutritional supplements on this site..I > finally got my order..Ive called and left a message for them to call me > back, but no reply..Maybe someone on this site can help..What do I do about > giving the 3 doses..We are able to give with breakfast and supper but when > Machaela is in school it would be to hard to send. Guest guest
Hi, I have just found this message. I too have problem contacting Brainchild since they are moving their office. I had just called them tonight and their message said they will be back on Monday or so. Anyway, I always mix the brainchild supplements with my son's juice (orange juice), one for the morning and one for after school snack then the last one for dinner. If your kid doesn't have the mid- afternoon snack than you might send it to school with your kid's lunch. Hope this help. Guest guest
, I have found Brainchild vitamins to be a wonderful product that has helped my kids tremendously, the only problem I have with it is the unreliable delivery. Lang is a one-man company who seems to be the victim of his own popularity. He told me to try to give his supps with meals because they help with digestion, which is definitely the case with my 3yo son who sounds a lot like your daughter, but I cannot always squeeze in the third time during the day and so I give my kids one dose at night when I wake them up to take them to the bathroom. It is a bit unorthodox but said it was OK and it works for us. They take a few spoonfuls of baby pears and then the juice concoction and go back to sleep. Guest guest
I'm curious to this board's opinion about Brainchild nutritional supplements vs. SuperNuThera. My concern is that Brainchild lists ALA as an ingredient (20mg or 25 mg, depending on the formula)and I'm aware of the danger in using ALA improperly with a toxic child. Thanks for any input. Guest guest
The Ultrasensitive formula, which we use, does not have ALA. SuperNuThera is not intended to be and should not be used as a general multivitamin; it's purpose is to deliver lots of B6. Brainchild's formulas are more well-rounded and provide much higher levels of minerals. Darren > I'm curious to this board's opinion about Brainchild nutritional > supplements vs. SuperNuThera. Guest guest
I asked that a couple months ago and got several responses saying that they are great vitamins and that they are worth the $$. We are still working through the samples but are going to start using them as well. Kirkman also has a good multivitamin, Super NuThera. Guest guest
We couldn't use them when we were with Pfeiffer, but we started using them in January when we changed physicians. I have really seen good improvements in both of my kids. I like the company, too. They are very knowledgeable and conscientious. When a batch of vitamins wasn't up to standards, they phoned and told me there would be a delay, then paid for shipping. I know a mom who was as " evangelical " about Brainchild as I was about the gfcf diet - we used to urge each other to try what we were doing. Her child was at the Recovered Kids section of the DAN conference last October - he is fully recovered and " only takes a Flintstone's vitamin " now... That's what I see...when kids start to get better, they get better and better. They are able to tolerate more, don't need as much supplementation. We were strictly gfcf for three years, then went to Houston's enzymes at all meals with very infrequent infractions, now is able to tolerate more frequent infractions -- which is a good thing, as now he is sneaky! Last week they had cake at a picnic, and when I gave it to him, he asked for enzymes " to help his tummy.
