I usually don't say to much but this just really bothers me, and I know this isn't very nice, but if these people could live just one day in our lives (especially you dealing with medical issues for yourself and five children, I have five children and only one has medical issues and I'm crazed) then maybe other could learn a little compassion. We are in MA and had the worst problems with CVS also Connor was just out of the hospital (4 week stay) on new formula and they didn't get it in, then not the right stuff. Messed up the insurance telling us, we had to pay for Neocate and you know how much $$$$ that is< which we couldn't afford and CVS just said it's not our problem You are right they are just awful, Is this you regular pharmacy? If they are that makes it even worse that they the wouldn't cover you until Monday when the insurance could be dealt with. I hope things get better Connie mom to Connor and the crew

Guest guest
Hi Cath, I have medibank Private and only joined them last financial year because of the GST tax situation. I had my surgery in August at a private hospital and I haven't had any problems at all with them. They paid up really fast to the hospital, docs, etc. I have Advantage plus with extras which is about $158 per month and with this deal I got to use the package bonus dollar to cover the hospital excess of $200. So all I paid was $2700 which is the band surgery deal with doctor, shrink, dietician, band itself and the pre-med tests and a few follow up cisits with doctor. Hope this helps in some small way. Guest guest
Dear Cath, I joined MBF in June 2000, just before they bought in that blanket age thing (join at the cost of a 30 year old).I pay about $60 a month, which is a singles smart cover plus the second lowest hospital cover. My opp was on 19.7.01, just over the 12 month mark, and they covered everything except for: *$200 primium for hospital *almost $6,000 for the extra on surgery, anethistist (I can never spell that)etc etc. So, for a years worth of payments, I got over $10,000 worth of opperation. Also, I believe, after talking to Dr. , that I will be able to get plastic surgery under this too, when the time finally comes. Hope this helps, the jargon they use can be quite confusing. Guest guest
Hi Cath, I joined IOR last year. Not only have I found them to be extremely cheap but they are also fantastic. I have had no problems claiming and pay about $40 per month (with rebate) and that covers all hospital and ancillaries. I recommend them to everyone.
