Looks like mung bean, starch and water. Everything I'm finding as I search

on it is predicated on buying them already made. I'll keep looking.

Thanks, . The only info I came up with after googling were

recipes. I'm not familiar with Mung Beans, but I think they're " OK "

for SBD. The starch, I'm not so sure about. I wonder what is the

source of the 'starch'? It just seems that glass noodles or

cellophane noodles would be ok to use considering they're made from

Mung beans. The starch though, is the clincher to keep me away from

them.

What are your thoughts about using them, , or any one else?

Thanks!

Donna - did a search - found this site:

Basically the noodles are made with a starch unless they are made with mung

beans. You have to read the ingredients. The article did mention some being

made with sweet potatoes or whole wheat. I have seen them in the store, just

never knew what to do with them.

Well, from what I found on one site, the starch is from the mung beans.

Mung beans are allowed on the diet so I've no doubt there is a FORM of the

noodles that would be ok, but with the heavy processing that goes into foods

these days.... :(
