My husband grew up with his uncle who also had Downs, he passed away at the age of 49, which the Doctors think is just amazing due to long healthy life with Downs, his name was Denny and there was not one person on the face of the earth that he has not touched if they were to meet him at least once. Denny brought laughter and love to our family all the time, there was not one person or thing he did not love! even the birds would fly right up to him. After he passed on 4 months later I lost my twins so we all decided to burry my twins at the top of his burriel site becauce we all know he would watch over them and take good care of them. She has Down'ssyndrome and has been in poor health for the last twoyears; now she has a pulmonary embolism and pneumonia.She is comfortable, but semi comatose - I don't thinkshe is aware of much that is going on, so I am justholding her hand and talking and singing, andreminiscing about our childhood. I am glad I was ableto get here. I have had to delete quite a lot ofemail, hope everyone is OK. Thank God I am well, andable to cope.
