Guest guest
Hi everyone I have been lurking for a couple of weeks now - not much has been happening, that is until I had my 2nd fill. I now have 2.5mls and this past week the weight has been coming off - YEAAH !!!!!!!!! I do feel the restriction and have to remind myself as I eat to chew, chew, chew !!! My meals now are very small but I enjoy every mouth full :-) Friends are only now starting to comment about my weight loss - and how well I look :-) I hope the newbies start to feel better and start to enjoy their new lives - just like me !!! Regards Coral Dr Steve Banded 24th April - 105kgs Today 92.5kgs
Guest guest
Totally agree Karin, I have tried to say as much many times. I think you set yourself up for much heartache if the expectation is too high. Way too much pressure. I am so sorry to hear the news of your cancellation. It is heartbreaking when you are so prepared. Hope you get another date very soon. regards, Cath > Teala, 15 kg in 2 months is an amazing loss. Don't you feel that > your expectations are a little high? Every booklet, manual, > internet info and other bandsters have ALL said that 1/2 to 1 kg loss > per week is all that is expected. Any quicker loss usually results > in skin sagging problems and can cause extreme hairloss. It can also > increase your chances of gallbladder disease. I know I'm not banded > yet and you're probably thinking what the hell do I know but all I'm > saying is this is the info I researched and have been told. > > (Please other bandsters step in here and advise otherwise if I'm > wrong) > > I think I'd be walking butt naked downtown Berwick if I lost 15 kg in > that amount of time. Urgh! Not a pretty site.LOL > > Take care and don't be too hard on yourself. > > Luv Karin
