Direct breastfeeding is first, then expressed breastmilk is second, then banked (fortified) breastmilk third, and iron-fortified formula is fourth. They even caution pediatricians to weigh the benefits of breastfeeding against the risks of not receiving human milk. I am trying to begin a home based business for that very reason.
