Guest guest
Hello! Santa still has a ton of work to do, but some gifts (which include non-Santa gifts as I also buy on behalf of grandparents for my kids)...are: ph (the " relevant " child for this list) has requested a live turtle, an art set and a pet book. He'll also get the techno dog and a poo-chi. I'm not really too sure what other things ph will get! I need ideas too! As to tips, we had a big problem at a holiday parade a couple of weeks ago. When ph saw Santa, he thought it was actually Christmas and he thought he should thereby have his then chosen pet (a bunny) in his hand. It was really hard, as he went from very well behaved to " very " hard so fast. When we got home I realized what happened and I made him a calendar showing him when the real Christmas is and I have him crossing off each day. We are going to another party this Saturday night and Santa's coming and I'm trying to explain that this is not going to be the Christmas Santa, just a Santa who gives you a poo-chi, something like that, but not something on your list. A therapist suggested I have " Santa " mail a letter to ph before the Saturday night party and Santa will explain that ph's not getting the Christmas gifts yet. Seems like a good idea, and anything tangible really helps ph. I tell my other kids, oh these other Santas aren't the real Santas and they are fine with that, but with ph he is so black and white I fear he won't get it, or he'll get it and tell all the little kids and ruin their fun on Saturday! Guest guest
Don't remind me, Ms. Memory! I tried to return the leopard gecko, but Jack (mind you I said Jack, not ph) will not hear of my returning things, animals, whatever, willy nilly. So Rex the lizard remains a member of this house and barring some premature demise, is expected to live at least 15 years......ph is bored of Rex and is moving on. I really love getting live crickets every week, I needed something to fill in my time. Iguana, no way jose'! JoAnne Heidi wrote: I thought THIS would be the year of the Iguana? Heidi Re: toys Hello! Guest guest
I like the name, Rex, very imaginative. Heidi Re: toys Hello!
