We had a really good experience with this. Our son has Asperger's and it

reduced his hearing sensitivity enough so that it was noticeable - we could

tell - as could his teachers - that he just seemed a lot less agitated. I

guess that the level of sound he was experiencing previous to receiving the

therapy was painful. We did this at The Center out in Budd Lake...

,

I just started the Tomatis method with my daughter in NY. She completed her

first intensive session in July and we go back in Sept for the next session.

According to Dr. , who studied under Tomatis in France, 60 to 90

hours is recommended. Each 2 1/2 week session is 30 hours. I have not seen

much of a change in my daughter from the first session, but I was informed I

probably would not see dramatic results after the first session. I'll let

you know how we do after the next session in Sept.

Hi I have done AIT with my son and tomatis up at Bud lake with Doreen .

We have seen a difference in Dylan. He seems calmer and it takes him less

time to process things. He is also more tolerant of certain sounds. If you

want to call me I would be glad to discus it further with you . 201 592-1828

We are beginning AIT with our daughter on Monday with Dorinne in Budd

Lake. Glad to hear it helped your son. Did you have a good experience?

I'm wondering how we're going to keep busy in between sessions. The limited

diet doesn't help matters.

Hi ,

I have thought about Tomatis for (2 1/2), but I know at this

point he won't wear the headphones. I don't know much about it, but I feel

that my son definitely has auditory processing issues. So I think Tomatis

could be beneficial.

How old was Dylan when you did Tomatis? How did you get him to wear the

headphones? I know someone who brought her son to Canada twice for this

treatment and felt it made a great difference. What are the main symptoms

that Tomatis can help?

Thanks!

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi ...we're just back. I haven't asked Ellis about the juice, but isn't

your homeopathic guy partners with Ellis? Can you bring the juices to the next

morning meeting?

Thanks, JoAnne
