Here is the 2003-2004 U if M Dance Marathon Program we participate in with for children with special needs age 3-12, I think, and their families.You do not have to be a U of M patient to participate in their activities, and we have a blast. participates in some of the programs sponsored by Dance Marathon, such as PLAY; Summer Programs at Motts, and Music Therapy, and he enjoys the parties, held throughout the year by the Dance Marathon Members.

LOOKING FOR SOME GREAT WAYS TO STAY INVOLVED WITH THE KIDS THIS SUMMER?? CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:1. SUMMER PROGRAMING AT MOTT HOSPITAL(includes a variety of different activities for the children on a more long term basis) Note that you only need to commit to one group for one of the sesions, but feel free to commit to as many as you can!

a. SESSION I:June 16th-June 27Group I: 8am-10am (2 volunteers)Group II: 10am-12pm (2 volunteers)** Each group could use 4 volunteers on June 18th--swim day**

b. SESSION II: July 7-July 18Group I: 8am-10am (2 volunteers)Group II: 10am-12pm (2 volunteers)** Each group could use 4 volunteers on July 11th--swim day**

c. SESSION III: July 28-August 8Group I: 8am-10am (2 volunteers)Group II: 10am-12pm (2 volunteers)** Each group could use 4 volunteers on August 1st--swim day**2. MARTIAL ARTS THERAPY (A must for everyone to check out at least once this summer!)Runs every Tuesday Evening from 5-6pm

3. SPECIAL NEEDS CYCLING(A program that allows children with special needs, their families, and volunteers bike around the Ann Arbor area)

Runs Every Monday and Wednesday evening, starting in mid-june. Offical start date and times TBA.

4. TOUR DE KIDS BIKE RACE(A one day event that will be a great chance to meet some of our families)

June 15th at 12PM

5. YOGA TBA
