We have been almost there on at least two occasions. I honestly do not know what is better or worse. We have been in this battle for 5 years. I know that I will miss him so very much when/if he does go before me, but I already miss the really Speedy now. He is nothing like he was even 5 years ago. I don't think you ever forget the loss (but it does become sweetened with the memories, rather than simply sharply bitter, if you know what I mean....) *hugs* Elissa Loss I lost my mother the day after Christmas. It has been and still is the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I am the oldest of five children (and the ONLY GIRL), so my mother and I had a very special bond. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't say OUT LOUD, "I MISS MY MOM." I don't know why I told y'all this...but sometimes it makes me feel to tell someone. Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder.
