Bad WEEK????????

Janet, how about a bad SIX weeks keeping us " sickies " from posting? I started

getting

sick with allergies right before Christmas. I went to the doctor and my blood

pressure is

up again, so he put me back on the same medication that I worked so hard to get

off of a

year ago. Then the older granddaughter (who lives in my town) had strep throat a

month

ago. Two weeks ago her Daddy got it. One week ago her Mama got it. Their Daddy

had

to go out of town on business even though he tried his best to get out of it

that same

week Mama got sick. The girls came and stayed with me while he was gone and Mama

was sick. Last Friday I saw my doctor and he said I have bronchitis. He gave me

an

antibiotic. I had it filled and found out it conflicts with my blood pressure

medication.

Called in about that and the pharmacy drug their feet getting me something

different until

TODAY when they called it was ready to be picked up! I was too busy to keep on

their

case to get me something better. Guess what? Nearly a week later with no

medication

and I'm better now, thank you very much. They can keep their medicine! Then this

week

Grandpa (my dh) decided to wake up with thrombophlebitis in one leg on the same

morning that the same granddaughter woke up with strep again! The bright spot in

all of

this was that I was able to take both of them to the same doctor at the same

time. We all

use the same doctor. Everyone is better right now. Grandma is tired and grumpy,

but we

ARE better! I am soooooooooooo looking forward to summer! No

school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't missed a TOPS meeting thru all of it. I'm trying to duplicate my

perfect

attendance from last year.

So, no, I haven't read many digests or written much. I did see this one digest

with this

post of yours, Janet, and thought I'd respond. I love all of you dearly and

haven't been

ignoring you. Just too tired and worn-out to do much of anything except the

necessities.
