Both are within the allowed parameters. Which you choose is up to you.

For string cheese, low-fat/part-skim mozzarella is already within the

parameters of the diet. Likewise, cheeses with 6g of fat or less per

serving are also allowed. The most common form of this seems to be the

Kraft 2% line of cheeses. They are " naturally " reduced fat because they're

made from 2% milk rather than the full fat stuff of other cheeses.

Don't ask me how I never noticed that before. I always wondered how we

knew which lowfat cheeses were acceptable.

Mari - I like the 2% milk cheese, but it cost twice as much as the regular but

is 6g fat less than the regular. I did try the other day a Cabot cheese that is

50% Light - it has 70 calories /ounce; 4.5g fat, <1g carb. To me it was very

dry (both cheddar and mozzarella).
