Guest guest
Both are within the allowed parameters. Which you choose is up to you. For string cheese, low-fat/part-skim mozzarella is already within the parameters of the diet. Likewise, cheeses with 6g of fat or less per serving are also allowed. The most common form of this seems to be the Kraft 2% line of cheeses. They are " naturally " reduced fat because they're made from 2% milk rather than the full fat stuff of other cheeses. Guest guest
Don't ask me how I never noticed that before. I always wondered how we knew which lowfat cheeses were acceptable. ann > > Both are within the allowed parameters. Guest guest
Mari - I like the 2% milk cheese, but it cost twice as much as the regular but is 6g fat less than the regular. I did try the other day a Cabot cheese that is 50% Light - it has 70 calories /ounce; 4.5g fat, <1g carb. To me it was very dry (both cheddar and mozzarella).
