Guest guest
Hi Helen, an insulin drip is just insulin in an iv. They used it on me during my time in the hospital after my kidney transplant to bring my sugar back into control. Good luck! peace, DJ transplanted may 9, 2004 " It's amazing I won. I also chase my 12 year old around! LOL Hugs, > Marilyn I used to do Tai Chi -- until I came down with Frozen Shoulder a couple years ago. I can't help thinking it contributed to the condition somehow -- all that stretching in odd positions. ;-' I liked it while I was doing it tho. Found my balance improved. These days I walk, usually a couple miles a day. I'm trying to increase that, tho, to lose some weight. Cutting back on food just isn't doing it for me. Depression works wonders for losing weight, but I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I dropped 30 lbs. when my father died a year ago, which kicked me into a clinical depression that I struggled along with for six months or so, until I got on Paxil and Wellbutrin. Best thing that ever happened to me -- I got my " appetite for living " back. ;-j Including those 30 lbs. So it's " walkies " again for me. Guest guest
Helen, I'm glad, happy, elated that your son is ok! I pray for the police and military everyday. I owe so much to them. My safety and my freedoms! Yes, I'll be in Mc on the 18th...the good Lord willing! I'm trying my best to get some of my chapter to come with me. Karla used to be on this list, but she has to teach that day. Some kind of extra tutoring for her students. She teaches in San Benito in one of the poorest schools and man, do those kids need prayers and encouragement! They're sure not getting it at home, evidently. The school has some kind of extra tutoring and she does that every Monday, Tuesday after school and now for the next 9 Saturdays! All day! She never gets to rest or have any time off! I'm hoping somehow she will be able to come. I want her to meet you and Melody! One of the ladies in my chapter is a winter tourist. She is a clown back up north, so she should be able to fit right in with our theme.
