Guest guest
Hi all Home now in Kalgoorlie having had two fantastic weeks in country . Trying to sift through all the postings so I trust all is well with everyone. Got the flu (again) while I was away and it seems I have had it on and off for about 6 weeks. It seems to make my band rather sensitive-anyone else found this to be so? Probably my last fill was a little bit too much and I am bringing up my food more often than I would like. I spoke to a nutritionist re my inability to shake these flus and he said that most of the bodies fighting mechanisms are grown in the stomach and when you change the dynamics of your insides somewhat, it has or can have an effect on your ability to fight germs etc. I don't know if this is correct but I'm feeling really run down. Weight loss has been slow because I just have been too fluey to exercise and unless I hit the walking tracks it just doesn't happen as successfully for me. So October is going to be my month!!!! I got all my mail and found a letter from my doctors surgery saying Doc Kierath would not be in Perth the week I had made my appointment (05.10.01) and it was changed to 12.10.01. Never mind that airfares were booked!!! So I was so looking forward to doing something on that Friday Lee and the other Perthites but it will not be so this time. On the 12.10.01 I will just fly in and out because I have a "do" on that night back in Kal. I will need another 2 monthly checkup no doubt before Christmas and come hell or high water I will have a drink/catchup or whatever with you for Christmas!! Anyway have a great week all and continued success. Guest guest
Hi Sharlene I've had all my surgeries at Glengarry and really like it there. It's not too large and the staff are helpful, friendly and totally went out of their way to help us. With my last surgery when my husband flew in from Adelaide they were tripping over themselves to feed him and organise a camp bed so he could spend the night at the hospital with me.
