Jeannette,

I'm praying for all these people. They've sure had a rough time.

It sounds like the leg surgery is similar to what my dh is having done tomorrow.

Only

his will be done on both the greater saphenous veins rather than an artery.

They'll

close them off with a laser zapping procedure. His is supposed to be rather

run-off-

the-mill minor surgery, more of a procedure rather than a surgery like we used

to

think of surgery. Not as serious as what your member is having done.

Kathleen, I will definitely be praying for a good outcome for your husband's surgery tomorrow. It's amazing what the doctors are able to do for us and the great results. And I'll pray for you, too. Sometimes we tend to forget about the spouse that's not having surgery, but it's hard waiting to hear that your loved one is OK. Thank you, Jeannette, I appreciate the prayers.

He is supposed to eat breakfast before he goes so the medication they give him

won't upset his stomach as much. They'll give him some kind of sedative to make

him groggy and then give him a bunch of locals up and down both legs. Then I

have

the privilege of taking this 6 foot tall hunk of sleepy, hurting, staggering,

laser-zapped

hulk who will have trouble walking, home just before lunch time! I made a run to

Wal-

Mart this morning for food tomorrow before getting the 6 year old at school. I

have no

idea what he'll feel like eating, so I tried to cover all the bases. If I'm

lucky, maybe

he'll sleep for a few hours. The 6 year old is going home with a friend of hers

tomorrow, so she won't be around to entertain us. She is napping now.

Thanks again.
