I would love to go to maybe 160-is that reasonable? Even under 200 lbs sounds marvelous! Vickie
Guest guest
Hey Melinda- good to see you're still " lurking " ! Glad to hear your success stories. I also wanted to add that kids don't have to be verbal to be potty-trained; you can always try a picture schedule. My son is verbal but learns quickly visually. We did a potty sequence of events story in pictures and it worked real well. We did a sort of ABA chaining technique; reinforcing for each step of the way, starting small....sitting on the potty with clothes on, or pulling down his pants by himself, etc. We also reinforced when we " caught " him dry and showed him the little pictures on the pullups that were still there, so he could understand better... sometimes it takes a lot of very small steps. -- -- Expect a miracle!
