Guest guest
You go Gus!!! I think it settles down ... then we need to find another excuse! Last night the noise and the pain was so bad. The noise was like being in the middle of a thunder storm - I went to sleep then and when I woke up, the noise and pain were gone. I am assuming that bed was not a pleasant place to be last night - well I didn't notice anything anyway!!?! Guest guest
Hi Sam, I have found another rare species who is being seen by Skinner. Can you please tell me what you thought of him. I am being banded on the 22/11/01 and any input would be great. Could you please tell me about your op? and the pain? Sounds great that you are hardly eating. Half your luck. I hope this happens to me. Sorry, I was getting a bit excited there. Hope you don't think I'm too nosey. Hope to talk to you soon. Guest guest
Hi What can I tell you about Skinner? He is the nicest person I have ever had the pleasure in poking inside me. He is very caring and a friend. The staff at the Avenue are great. I have sleep apnea and I had to stay overnight in intensive care. They gave me plenty of pain management, even getting the panadol suppositorys you know where. I went home after 3 days I found the hospital bed too hard. I found that if you have a tri pillow you will find a position that is comfortable in bed. Its day 9 I have some minor pain- its difficult to bend down. I have taken all my dressings off and they have healed well. Your not being nosey I wish I found this site before my op. Well good luck and talking often helps. I live in Mulgrave, where do u live? Talk soon Sam Gus > > > > > > > My liquid phase was 4 weeks ... only what you could get up a straw (not > > > literally) was the measure. Then 4 weeks of " mushy " foods. Guest guest
Hi Gus I hope the op goes well. No I didn't have to take MagCal... I don't even know what it is. You probably won't get this before your op, but I will say a prayer for you. I'm sure everything will go well. Errin Gus wrote: all went well and its a " go " for next Tuesday (Oct 30). Did any of you have to take MagCal the day prior to " clean " out the plumbing?? Not looking forward to that!

Guest guest
Hi Orry I went into theatre at 6.30pm, was back in my hospital room at 8.45pm and left the hospital at 11.30am the next day. i would have left the hospital at 9am but I had to wait for the doc to come see me. I didn't have any pain after the op and had no trouble keeping down fluids and walking, so I was allowed home.
