Helen,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers

are with you. I lost my husband last year on Sept 30th. It is very hard to

deal with a loss of someone so close and dear to you. We were always

together since we were married in 1960 and was my whole life. He too

was very happy about my weight loss, when he died I still had to loose a lot

more. But at least he got to see at last after all this time of trying

everything, and I mean everything something finally was working for me. We

had so many plans now that I could walk and keep up and he was no longer

working. We wanted to travel and do so many different things that were put

on hold because of my weight, I just couldn' t do much at all . But now, I

know he is seeing me from up above and very proud of me. It is hard without

him, and I thank God that I have two children who are married and each has a

child. My grandchildren are both 3 and are a joy to me. I thank God each

day for my children and grandchildren. I too have a very close family along

with 's sisters and all,

keep close to each other and take day by day. Remember we went through so

much to loose our weight and even though there are many things each day that

will get us down, we have to keep going and ask for God's help, to give us

strength to go on without our loved ones and to do the best we can. Take

care.

Hi everyone. I need some help. I am a year out of surgery. I haven't lost

any weight for the last 6 months. I still weigh 260 (down from 326). I

would so appreciate if you all could take a couple of minutes and write down

what you eat in a typical day and how much. I keep going back and forth from

low carb to Weight Watchers to protein shakes and binge eating. I feel like

I just need to know what works for everybody and thought I could try that

too. Thanks for your help. Pat
