Guest guest
If they have corn and sugar in them, they are not compliant. Simple as that. It's not a choice. Sugar and corn are on the " foods to avoid " list. herself said the chicken ones are not the ones that are compliant. And the Good Carb book isn't a good source to use. It has a G next to many things that are not on SBD. The correct source to use is the " approved foods " list. ann > > My new copy of the completely revised SBD Good Eats Good Carbs Guide book, on page 75 at the bottom of the page does say that veggie burgers (not named by brand & not stated to be only Kraft products) are rated as G (Good to eat) in Phase I, II, & III of SBD. Also, this same book on page 104 about mid point on this page lists Garden burgers as also rated as G (Good to eat) in Phase I, II, III of SBD. Also, on the Boca Burger website, there is a link to South Beach Diet information to click into & this link states that each box of Boca Burgers does carry the SBD seal of approval & it also states that each individual product they make does state on the individual box, which Phase of SBD diet that particular product is OK for. > > is the one who is correct, ann & are not correct that Boca Burgers are wrong for SBD. You can choose to not eat them, if that is your own personal desire, but that only means they are not correct for you, but they are correct for others who are following the SBD & who do choose to eat them. > > orchid > >
Guest guest
' point is that there is a " foods to enjoy " list for phase 1 and a " foods to enjoy " list for phase 2. If any food product contains foods other than what is on those lists, they are not compliant with SBD. You are misreading your Good Carb book. It does not mean that we are allowed to eat foods that are not on the " foods to enjoy " list. If something is on the " foods to avoid " list, we can't eat it. ann > Your point that the SBD Good Fats Good Carbs Guide does not specifically name Boca Burgers & only says that veggie burgers are Good is beyond me what your point is
Guest guest
So, if Dr. A and Kraft come out with " SBD French Fries " you think they'll be OK? And SBD Kraft donuts? Guest guest
HE IS??? Oh I THINK I LOVE HIM!! What about a supreme or loaded house special pizza with a pitcher of beer on the side? Do you think the donuts will be chocolate frosted? I have also been craving fried fish & chips. I request that, too. Oh and done forget the Margaritas, Pina Coladas and Strawberry Daquaris with extra whipped cream on top!! LOL!! Sorry I need to go make breakfast, now. Everyone should lighten up. It takes more musclues in your face to frown than it does to smile. (dont shoot the messanger) in Maine > > > (guess what?
