Guest guest
Hi , I went through menopause early, almost 5 years ago, and I have lost 65 lbs in 10 months, so I wouldn't worry about being post menopausal being an issue. I am not on HRT, but I am on other meds that cause weight gain, and I am losing anyway. So, give it a try and see how you do. I'm not sure about the lactolose. I have IBS-C, also, but my doctor never prescribed that. Could you call your doctor and ask if there is a sugar-free med you could use for a couple weeks instead while you are on phase 1? Also, there may not even be enough sugar in lactolose to cause a problem. We are allowed to eat things with less than 3 grams of sugar per serving, so maybe you could find out how much sugar is in it. Your pharmacist would probably be able to tell you how much sugar is in it. Just use whatever salad dressing you like that has less than 4 grams of sugar in it. It doesn't have to be a SBD product or a " diet " product. ann > > Hello, I am starting to sbd p1 today and very excited, but alas I do > have some questions for you. > > I have heard/read several mentions of people becoming constipated, > I have IBS-c and have to take meds to control it, one of the meds is > lactolose, it, I am fairly sure has a form of sugar it. will this > just slow me down or cause mr to fail?
