Bad news

Well, there has been a slight increase in the cancer cells in the liver. We

will meet with Dr. Rothman on Thursday to discuss treatment options which he

said will probably be a new chemo. This is the first new growth in 2 years

please pray

They say God never gives us a burden to hard to carry.

I wish He didn't think my shoulders were so broad.....I think He mistakes my

behind for my shoulders.....lol

I'll let you know when I know more. What an anniversary gift DAMN! This just

stinks!!!!!!!

Narice? If I were a cussin' woman, you would read a blue streak across this

monitor!! This just makes me so MAD at cancer!!! Cancer Sucks doesn't even touch

it.

If I were a bettin' woman, I'd bet on your man to be the one to beat it though.

Prayers going up~~~~~~~~

Sorry to hear about the bump on the road !

However, remember that transitions are the hardest , as I am

learning from reading these posts / A diagnosis, recurrance or a

change etc... One has to, and thankfully does, shift gears, re

group, adapt and move forward ...

Sending lots and lots of

heartfelt Prayers from Istanbul Turkey...

Best wishes

You will both be in my prayers....Janice

bad news

I have had some really bad news and I am just in a daze right now. My Mom was taken to the hospital Thursday morning with a pulmonary embolism. She is doing well but while trying to find where the clot came from they discovered a spot on her liver. They did a cat scan which is not back yet but from the blood work they are very sure it is cancer. I cant let myself fall apart like I did the last time she got sick. I have to keep it together and be there for her. Please remember her in your prayers and if anyone would take the time to send her a card I would so appreciate it. She hates being in the hospital. She is one of those who is always doing for others

And please say a prayer for me also. That I can get through what lies a head and not turn to food to get me through.

Grammy Pat you have my prayers. I do know where you are coming from. I lost my Mother with cancer of the liver just 8 months after my first husband passed away. Mother's are supposed to go on for ever. I still miss mine after more than 20 years. I think about all the good times she lived with me for many years and I enjoyed her a lot. Hang in there God gives us the strength.

Grammy Pat, you have my prayers, for both you and your Mom. It is so hard being in the position you are in. Nothing harder than seeing our parents suffer. Please keep us informed.
