Guest guest
Hello All, My preference for the location is & Noble's. The atmosphere lends itself for less structure and more informal conversations between groups of 3-4 moms. People tend to float from one group to the other depending on topics and I believe this setting services the needs of a broader population. Additionally, we love the coffee and munchies! Recommending the make up of the group gets a little tougher. As long as everyone understands that all are welcomed to any meeting, I think splitting the meetings into two (under 4 and over 4) may be a good idea. The seasoned moms would also have to take turns attending the " under 4 " meetings to share their knowledge/experience and offer advice. Guest guest
Hello, I prefer the & Noble location. I love the social and relaxed atmosphere. I thought our group, while large, was more than carrying it's own in coffee & goodies. After 9:30, it's much less crowded, so I don't think the management minded. And let's be honest, they get alot of books sold (even if now they're not all about autism) The age cutoff is a great guideline, but all should be welcome at either! I also love the a new parent's relief at understanding ears or the exhuberance of a parent seeing results. But I also love catching up on the lives & experiences of our seasoned parents in a social setting. Anne Q Re: Fwd: evening meetings > > Hello All, > > My preference for the location is & Noble's.
