Usually these triggers are actually feelings suchAs boredom, guilt, anxiety, etc. They can occur inHappy times or not so happy times. But, taking penIn hand and writing... Like they taught us inSchool to write a newspaper article... Who, what,Where, when, and why... Can help you pinpointThose triggers.

Maybe every time you get angry at some one who hasHurt your feelings, you reach for the cookies(like I used to do.) You will show them... Right?I don't think so.

Maybe it's after work. It's been a veryFrustrating day, and you head for theRefrigerator. Instead, pick up that pen and writeDown those feelings. Refer to them when the sameFeelings occur again, and you will begin to breakThose bad old habits.
