Hugs, Rains it pours I was going to start putting my food in the new website but life got in the way again today. This past week has just been a mess and the rest of this one doesn't look all that great either. But I'm trying to get a grip on it all. Last Monday my little kitten was killed by a car right in front of me. I was on my way to work and pulling out of the driveway when the cat ran out in the street and was killed. It was just a horrible, horrible experience. The car never even slowed down. We miss him so much, He was just so full of life. Then my oldest dog has been ailing for the last couple of weeks and she got so much worse. She kept falling down and walking in circles and whining. $500 and 2 vet trips later we find it was a punctured eardrum caused by a bad yeast infection in her ear.At one point they wanted to put her in intensive care at $200 a night. I love my dog but we nursed her just as well at home. She is doing much better but on top of the cat it was just too much. Well. now Hank is sick with sinus infection and chest crud. Had to take another day off work today to take him to the doctor for that and also an MRI on his back and hip. Another day off tomorrow for me to go to the new orthopedic surgeon and hopefully get my knee fixed. It is so bad now I can barely walk at all. In between all this mess there is this stupid cold, rainy weather, work, worrying about my Mom (6 more chemo treatments), my son (Mom I want to move back to Texas) and throw in a dreaded birthday tomorrow. Well through it all I managed to come within 2 pounds of that elusive 300 goal. Hard to do with no exercise but I have been very good on the food front. Sorry for the whine but at least I didn't eat my way through the stress and I actually had a 3 pound loss at TOPS last night.
