Guest guest
How FlexPoints Works You are assigned a daily POINTS® Target based on your weight Each week you have 35 FlexPoints to supplement your daily POINTS balance Earn Activity POINTS and swap them into Food POINTS Use FlexPoints to: Eat the foods you love and still stay on track Handle unexpected situations where your food choices are limited Treat yourself occasionally during the week Using your POINTS Tracker No banking New daily and weekly tally of your FlexPoints ExpressTrack saves you the time of entering individual food and activity names © 2003 Weight Watchers International, Inc. © 2003 WeightWatchers.com, Inc. Guest guest
Using FlexPoints Start each day with a daily POINTS® Target, based on your current weight. While sometimes you may go below your POINTS Target, try to eat at least 20 POINTS. When you do go above your POINTS Target, you can supplement by swapping Activity POINTS you earn that day, as well as by using your weekly reserve of 35 FlexPoints. How to use the POINTS® Tracker The POINTS Tracker (formerly the Journal) keeps track of how close you are to your POINTS Target, whether you’ve swapped any Activity POINTS, and how many of your 35 weekly FlexPoints you’ve used FlexPoints week at a glance The POINTS® Tracker weekly view allows you to view your progress throughout the week to see what works best for you. With FlexPoints, you can accommodate special occasions, limited choices and even treat yourself while taking advantage of your weekly reserve of 35 FlexPoints—and the POINTS Tracker makes it easier than ever. Guest guest
Yup, you can use the 35 Flex Points...but there is no longer a range (for instance 22-26) but one point you have to reach. Using the flex points, five a day as you say, is pretty much what the old way was...just a new look I guess! Ok, like my limit is 20. If I exercise I can use those points ONLY THAT DAY. I can save my flex points and use them for a special occasion, or I can add them on daily. The first week I did not use my flex points...that really worked out better. Joya -- Re: Help! New FLEX POINT System????? If you use the 35 point reserve do you have to somehow make up for it either by banking or gaining activity points ?? I don't understand how this system could work given the 1 2 3 points system. Does this mean that you can eat 35 additional points per week and STILL lose ?? That averages out to 5 points a day. In the 1 2 3 system I could maybe go over 5 points per week and still lose, not 35 ! I can't believe the old system was that far off or am I just not understanding... Guest guest
thank you very much, Barb. This confirms the information that I had previously received. I'm still not sure I want to try the new program. It still seems like a lot of points to me and I'm afraid I'll gain if I switch. May be I'll try it " gradually " . Thanks again! Guest guest
You are most welcome! Weight Watchers is a great program but like everything else what works for one may not work for another. Good luck with whatever you do. Barb -- Re: > Help! Guest guest
I've had great success with the 1-2-3 Program (down 45 pounds). I've been very lax over the summer and have gained back 5 pounds (which I don't think is that bad for as bad as I've been). Anyway, I'm back OP (1-2-3 Program) and it works just fine for me. Guest guest
Good for you. 5 pounds isn't that bad. You will lose those in no time. It's funny how fast those pounds come back and how slow it is to lose them. Take care Barb -- Re: > > > Help!
