Diagnosed with multiple fibroids two years ago, symptoms include unpredictable periods, heavy bleeding and clots, abdominal pain and distention and, most recently, a leaky bladder. Gyn said it's because one of the fibroids is pressing on the bladder and " there's no room for both of them. " So far it's been a combination of acupuncture and " wait and watch, " but the leaking got to be the last straw. So, after a couple of months of reading posts here, looking into UAE and considering other options, I've got an appointment for an MRI at s Hopkins next week to see if I qualify for their Focused Ultra Sound trial. I've gotten a lot of information from everyone's sharing their experiences on this list, so I look forward to returning the favor.
