Guest guest
Here's a brand new article about success rates of IVF w/ICSI (in vitro fertilization where they inject the sperm into the egg -- useful for when there are problems with the sperm) for women with fibroids compared with a control group. They concluded that patients with subserosal or intramural fibroid/s is less than or equal to 4cm (regardless of location)-- and not encroaching on the uterine cavity -- then the success rate (and miscarriage rate) was comparable to the control group of women with no fibroids. They recommend that women with fibroids greater than 4cm undergo treatment (myo I assume) since there was a lower success rate -- although they didn't cite what that rate was.
