The information for June's NYC Meetup is as follows: The Downtown Uptown Cafe Lounge UpTown location 1626 Second Avenue Between 84th & 85th Street New York City, NY 10028 Phone: http://www.dtut.com MEETUP DATE: Sat, June 19th MEETUP TIME: 2-5 pm PLACE: Back reserved room of DT UT. FOOD: Pizza, turnovers, quiche passed butler style as an hors d'ouevre. Assorted Sandwiches served buffet style. Cheese Fondues placed around the room for guests to help themselves. BEVERAGES: Unlimited drip coffee, tea, juice, soda. DESSERT: S'mores, chocolate and caramel fondues. Platter of Rice Krispie Treats and Brownies COST: $20 per person payable onsite (to NUFF--preferably in cash so that it can immediately be used to pay the final bill total!). This price includes food, beverages, dessert, taxes, and gratuity. Please register for the Uterine Fibroids Meetup using the Meetup site at: http://uterinefibroids.meetup.com There is no fee to register on that site for monthly meetups. We truly want this to be a successful meeting as 20/20 will be there to film part of it for their upcoming story on uterine fibroids. We definitely want to send out a message to women all across this country that there are people they can turn to for more information and sharing on uterine fibroids and treatment options! As for the Meetup itself -- beyond food, beverages, and comraderie -- we are pleased to announce that both a gynecologist and an interventional radiologist (or two!) has agreed to attend this meetup and answer your questions about myomectomy and uterine fibroid embolization.
