Question about obtaining med records + seasonale

Hi,

Had ab myo in November (wonderful doctor)easy recovery aside from

some bowel issues, and I'm doing very well now but am having a hard

time getting my medical records from my original gyn/onc who

prescribed only hyst and ovary removal (I'm 38)...new local gyn wants

this info. before seeing me.

So- I've sent payment for my copies weeks ago and still nothing and

the nurses in his office are less than helpful now that I've turned

down the hyst op.

Anyone know if these folks have a right to hold back on my records? I

have an ongoing medical issue unrelated to my fibroids or ovaries and

I need these records ASAP. I'm in NY so if anyone has a clue about my

rights regarding this matter I'm glad for any help:)

Also saw an ad for seasonale a birth control method that limits your

periods to 4X a year. I'm thinking this will keep my remaining

fibroids from getting huge and will discuss this with dr.
