Women's Retreat update

Hi all,

I just wanted to update everyone on the Women's Retreat Weekend and also the

Tampa TeamWalk Connection, which it merges into. This is the weekend of

October 13 in Tampa, FL.

Tawny has reviewed all the Retreat Surveys to take a look at what topics you

ladies are most interested in for our weekend agenda. Thanks so much. It

is going to be fabulous!!!! This is a Retreat just for ladies with our

gorgeous walks to come together for special time as women in this club we

hadn't

anticipated belonging to...

Flora and Doug have helped us to locate a perfect spot for our TeamWalk on

Sunday morning. We'll have a Connection Breakfast that will be the finale for

the Women's Retreat as well as the TeamWalk Connection (so your spouses,

family members and friends can also come) at the hotel.

Then, we'll carpool over to the beautiful Friendship Trail Bridge in Tampa,

that overlooks Tampa Bay. It's a 2.6 mile recreational trail and is used by

walkers, bicyclists, in-line skaters, runners, joggers, fisherman, strollers,

etc. You can see it here:

(Women who attend the Women's Retreat don't have to participate in the

TeamWalk Connection)

If you want to come to the Women's Retreat, please be sure you have done the

Survey so we'll have your input and know you want to come. The # of

attendees influences what we do.

I don't have the Registration Form ready yet but the cost will be $55 and

that will cover the Saturday Retreat, breakfast and lunch. Hotel rooms are set

aside for $75 for our group. You'll pay your own cost for the Friday

Arrival Dinner. All the handicapped rooms are already taken but there are

hotels

on the same block you can stay at that have h/c rooms (Jane Anne is doing

that).

Doug has been exploring some wonderful logo ideas for our special weekend

and I'm really excited about that. Flora has looked into places to go for

dinner on Saturday night. If you bring a spouse, he can come to that.
