Guest guest
Hi Sonya, I have had the same thing going on with my hair for over a year. Still have hair ...good thing it used to be thick. Although I didn't have the pica/ice eating habit going on, my hair (and skin) has suffered. It will be important for you to remember to continue your iron supplement treatment after your myo, as I've read that it takes up to a year to recover your iron stores back to normal after being anemic, and I suppose it's relative to how far off you are. I had my myo in January and for some strange reason I conveniently " forgot " to resume my iron supplements. One day I realized I was still losing hair and was annoyed. Of course I thought all of my symptoms would stop after the myo; and then I woke up and smelled the coffee and got with the program. Good luck with your May 19th myo! ?????????????????????????????? Hey Ladies, I am scheduled for a myo on 5/19...and I hope that solves most of the problems I have with my period..I do have a problem where im eating lots & lots & lots of ice...I eat about 2 bags og ice a week...so the grocery store is making good money off of me just buying ice. Any who....I know thats probably an indication that Im anemic..but is hair loss an indication as well..I could comb my hair 5 times in one sitting & each time i comb out a big wad of hair...my beautician sys its my hair shedding...but i think its more serious than that. What do you guys think????
