Guest guest Posted April 21, 2004 Report Share Posted April 21, 2004 Hello ladies, Well I am now 5 weeks post myo and my symptoms have remained pretty much the same. Since they only reduced the fibroids by 20% I am still plagued with all the same bad and heavy periods except this time I was in terrible pain. I started on Yasmin in the hopes a different hormone would make some difference but no hope yet. I am trying to focus on step two. I am looking for a good RE around Auburn, AL. I can travel to Atlanta or Birmingham (where UAB is) if anyone has any suggestions. I cannot live like this. As it is I had to stay home all weekend because I was flooding. I am very down and out since I underwent major surgery and they came up with there were many small fibroids that they couldn't remove. My doc also told me they didn't even enter the uterine cavity.
