Recommendation for doctor for myomectomy in Ottawa, Canada: Dr ......

Hello All,

I am extremely frustrated with my current situation here in Ottawa,

Canada. My gynocologist recommended me to another gyno who

specializes in performing surgery on fibroids (my current doctor felt

that the recovery time with this doctor would be quicker because of

the way she performs the surgery)and she is also a fertility

specialist.

Well, this new doctor decided that she would not see me because of my

age. I am considered over the hill to try and get pregnant. Despite

the fact that I told her i was still interested in having a child,

she would not agree to see me.

So, I now have to go back to my original doctor and talk to her about

this.

Some gyno's are better that others at performing surgery on fibroids.

Are they the reproductive gyno's (sorry folks, I suffer from anemia

as well and i think I forgot the name)

I would like to know if anyone out there can recommend a specialist

in the area of fibroid surgery who works in Ottawa or Montreal Canada.

Dr West or Dr. , can you suggest anyone?
