I think that the Lupron insert also states the time that it should take. I took Lupron for 3 months prior to surgery. I had a myo that was converted to a hysterectomy but my ovaries were left. Of course I don't have a period but I know that my ovaries started working right around the 11 week mark as my PMS was back and my skin started breaking out again! Ug! That is one side-effect of the Lupron that was good...I had NO acne for 3 months! Hope that helps! > I was on Lupron for six months for my fibroids and endometriosis.
