My c-section was on Dec 9 2003 and my myo was on June 2nd 2004, so

about 6 months. I only bled once and that was for about 6 days

starting around May 8, and it was the period from Hell. I didnt want

to go through that again so I scheduled the myo as soon as I found a

good Dr. Plus I was sick of looking like I was still pregnant.

I since have found research, albeit old (1984), that confirms that a

woman should wait 5 to 6 mos after giving birth for the myo. This is

so that the uterus can get back into shape and sometimes the fibroid

(s) will degenerate after pregnancy.
